Floor Preparation & Priming
If you can get the right foundations with top-class floor preparation and priming then it’s plain sailing all the way. So before you move on to the next stage pay some attention to the floor base – it will be time well spent and could save you a lot of unnecessary hassle and money in the long run.
For many, the problems start when you lay a screed and then discover it’s going to take longer than planned before you can install the final floorcovering. This has a knock on effect of delaying the fitting of your skirting boards or installation of your new kitchen. Never an ideal scenario, but you would be surprised how many people find themselves in this situation.
Who doesn’t love a good screed? High-quality flooring is a massive part of any building or renovation project, and it should be done well, with top-class floor preparation and priming. We could go on all day about the advantages of System Ardex, but seeing it for yourself is the best verification anyone can get, so enjoy watching us hard at work.
You can use System Ardex internally or externally for anything including shop floors, offices, a leisure complex, and even your home.
TIP: Never run the risk of laying your floor over a screed that hasn’t had time to fully dry out. It’s very simple – the moisture content could wreak havoc: wooden floors may warp, tiling might lift, the screed may become unstable and uneven.
